Day 1: Arrival

  • Enjoy a cultural dance performance later in the day (Ticket will be given a complimentary based if clients visit the Gem Museum based on the time given by the guide)

It eventually fell to the British in 1815, but the salubrious hill station has maintained its position as an epicenter of Sinhalese culture and the site of an important spiritual pilgrimage for Buddhists. Many of the legends, traditions, and folklore are still lovingly kept alive by the region’s friendly people.   • Peradeniya Botanical Garden, located near Kandy, Sri Lanka, is the country’s largest and most renowned botanical garden. Spanning over 147 acres, it is famous for its diverse collection of plants, including orchids, palms, medicinal plants, and a massive Javan fig tree. Originally established in 1821, the garden attracts nature lovers and researchers with its beautifully landscaped grounds, rich biodiversity, and historical significance.

    Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple is one of the important Hanuman Temples in Sri Lanka located on summit of the very beautiful picturesque mountain in Ramboda 30 KM north to Nuwara Eliya, the gateway to the tea country hill station of Sri Lanka.     Sita Amman temple is the only Hindu Temple which dedicated to Princess Sita in Sri Lanka. This is one of the important Ramayana related places of Sri Lanka. Sita Amman Temple is located in Nuwara Eliya. Sita Eliya area (10 Min drive from Nuwara Eliya Town) close to Ashoka Vatika (This Ashoka Vatika has converted as a Hakgala Botanic Gardens Sri Lank). Sita Amman temple is one of the important Sri Lanka Ramayana Sites Which we can find when travelling along the Ramayana Trail Tour Sri Lanka from Kandy towards Ella via Nuwara Eliya.

    Originally, the park was the Hakgala Botanical Garden’s research field. The park was named in honour of Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee in 1897. The visiting German Princess planted the park’s first tree, an oak when she came to visit. The Nanu Oya River runs through the park, which forms a series of tiny lakes

    Sea Turtle Hatchery and Rescue Centre, a center with the aim of conserving some of the endangered species of turtles in the world. It is just one of many turtle hatcheries in the southern coast of the island. At sunset, you can witness the baby turtles being set free on the beach and watch them make their way back to the ocean.

    Colombo is Sri Lanka’s largest city, home to around a million people is also one of the busiest ports in the South Asia. Colombo was the capital for over two hundred years until the capital was shifted to nearby Sri Jayewardenepura, but remains the hub and heart of the city.
